Habitat: scattered in grassy area near pine.
Cap: 5.5 cm, convex, not viscid, shiny, oppressed scales, scales yellow-brown, background lemon chrome. Cap margin: Decurved. Capflesh: Pinkish white becoming yellow at center, 1mm at edge, 1.5 cm at center. Soft texture. Odor: Acrid. Pores: Adnate, narrow, copper, pores, small at margin becoming larger and elongated toward stalk, blueing when bruised. Stalk: Central, tapering, fulvous up from base. Punctuated and longitudinally stiate and fibrous. Stalk interior: Solid lemon chrome at base fading as it goes up.
