pileus: 0. 5-3cm broad, conic, young bodies, white fuzz, flesh thin and delicte, brown in center becoming pale at the edge. lamellae: white to gray becoming red-brown with age. general aspect: stipe 1.5-11 cm long by .1-.3 cm wide, brown to gray stem; odor alkaline; taste acrid; spore print not taken.
