cap 2-4 cm wide; bell-shaped becoming convex, may be depressed in the center; viscid to slimy; margin striate; brilliant orange fading to yellow-orange. gills-attached; close to crowded, ochre-pinkish; gill edges brilliant reddish-orange. general aspect: stalk orange-yellow; slimy to tacky; tough with dense hairs at the base; fruiting habit: clustered.
