Spores 4.5 - 6 x 3-3.5 microns, ovoid, smooth, non-amyloid. Pleurocystidia none; cheilocystidia 28-45x2.5-4 microns, clustered, at times appearing agglutinated. Cuticle of pileus composed of narrow (2.0 - 2.5 micron), interwoven, somewhat gelatinous hyphae.
