Plants: in small orbicular patches, light buff to ochraceous buff. Margin narrow, white, fimbriata. Hyphae: hyaline, smooth, 4-8 u diam., rising vertically from basal layer, clamps present. Gloeocystidia: 8-12 x 20-30 u, round or pointed. over. Cystidia: smooth in the context, hyaline, rising from basal layer, 15-60 x 5-7 u; only a few protruding beyond hymenium, heavy granular content, incrusted. Spores: hyaline, cylindric, slightly curved 7-9 x 2.5-3 u, smooth. Vesicular bodies: globular or pear-shaped all through hymenium, 10-23 x 10-20 u.
