Gregarious in soil at edge of bog under lodgepole pines (Pinus contorta).
Cap 2-4 cm, umbonate, dull, tomentose, Burnt Sienna to Kaiser Brown to Mahogany Red. Taste slowly acrid. Latex scant whey-like? Lamellae pinkish buff. Stipe equal, dry, Pinkish buff.
