You said at Pt Lobos that you have a 50% chance of getting this species right. Well, I think the odds were against you on this one. I called it R. subleptocarpha because I didn't see any apothecia, which should be present if it was R. leptocarpha. Also it looks like the marginal soralia are pretty long vs the compact oval soralia in R. farinacea.
