Tramal hyphae thick, brown. No setae, hyphal pegs, etc. Spores cylindrical, hyal., smooth walled. Notes by Gilbertson: Hyphae brown in KOH, thick walled, rarely branched, no bumps on setae, 3-4u in diameter, some hyaline, thin walled. Spores hyaline, smooth, cylindrical. Basidia 4-spored, 6-7u diameter.
