The fruiting body is a small (1-2 cm), 'deflated' looking brownish spore case on a long (1-6 cm) slender (2-4 mm) mostly equal stalk with a small bulb at the base that remains underground when spore case emerges (and pulls easily from the ground in this case). ? The is no conspicuous volva (as opposed to Battarrea). ? Spore mass (when mature) is rusty-salmon powder ? Their is a clearly defined tube or collar around the pore on the apex of fruiting body. ? Spores globose, minutely warted, with capitulum. ?Found in a sandy, gravely, less developed lot in an urban setting.
