PS Having just found somes really nice examples of Floccularia albolanaripses (obs 249846) with its more yellow brown cap in age, appressed brown scales and non-appendiculate margin I think now that this obs is F. luteovirens as it is more yellow, has no appressed scales and has an appendiculate margin. People who pick and eat these say the soft scales wash off in the rain which I think is what happened here. The cap is more yellow than it appears as it was a cloudy wet day.
