This description is from 10 Specimens Cap 5 to 12 cm round to convex to plane with in rolled Margin, striated, surface Viscid cap color range brown to brownish yellowish Ocher, staining on some spots dark brown. Gills close, adnate White in some specimens in older specimens becoming stained with brown spots. Stem 5 to 8 cm thick white in young specimens becoming brownish stain in age tapper at the end. Flesh thick firm but not brittle. Smell WOW like intense maraschino cherries to the point of being nauseating. Taste I'm not going there let me tell you something, if it smells like chemical cherries don't put it into your mouth. Take my word for it's AWFUL Found growing on a well used trail in moss under mix woods of Beech Hickory and Oak. Spore print Cream to yellow 5 prints taken.
