The macroscopic characters, such as: thallus grey-green, large lobes with soredia at the center and at the margins, undulating margins, points to the genus Parmotrema. To arrive at the species, I had based on the chemical reactions, which are illustrated in the last photo attached. According to the first reference P. perlatum reacts as follows: "Medulla and soralia: K+ orange-yellow, KC+ orange". The second reference indicates "upper cortex K+ yellow, C-, KC-, P-; medulla K+ yellow turning orange, C-, KC-". The reactions observed match those given in the second reference and, therefore, I gave the name accordingly: Parmotrema perlatum (= P. chinense).
