These were growing under Live Oak and Madrone with some small firs also nearby. The caps were up to 11.9 cm across and definitely dry in rather wet conditions. The white latex eventually turned the gill color a rusty red. The stipe was solid to partially hollow and the cap and stipe flesh was an off-white. There was no strong odor and the taste was mild. The spore print was a light yellow and they were globose to subglobose, ranging to ~ 8.2-7.6 microns, with fairly prominent warts and some partial reticulum.
