These were growing on the grassy edge of a rocky beach. The caps were up to 4.2 cm across. They had an odor of anise. The gills were brownish gray. The spore print was white and the spores were ~ 5.2-6.6 X 3.0-4.0 microns, smooth, and ellipsoid to oblong. With a fairly unique set of characteristics, they match the description rather well... considering the problems this genus usually presents.
