Found in the Turkey Creek Unit of the Big Thicket National Preserve. Growing on the ground in mixed woods. Cap 6.3 cm across with striations up to 10 mm long. Spores white and amyloid. Spores ~ 10.9-13.0 X 5.0-6.0 microns, oblong to cylindric. Q(range) = 1.82-2.53. Q(ave) = 2.08. N=22. I initially thought these might be A. sagittaria but spores are too short. A. peckiana seems closer although the spores still appear to be too short. Noticed that Jenkins claims A. peckiana has nonstriate caps, which would also cause problems with my previous observations of this taxa(?).
