Caps 63-105 mm with a decurved margin, depressed to infundibuliform. Gills deccurent, white; exuding white latex when cut. Latex doesn't appear to stain the gills and tastes mild at first, then slowly becoming mildly hot. Gills become yellowish with age. Flesh white, unchanging, very thin with no particular odor.Stipe 70-90 mm. long x 16-22 mm at apex, slimy when picked, hollow, brittle and stained orangish inside, enlarging in either direction, yellowish white overall with some orange brown stains. Bottom of base white. Worm holes turn orangish. Terrestrial near Carya ovata (Shagbark Hickory) and Fraxinus Americana ( White Ash). Pinus and Quercus also present.
