Stemonitis splendens Rost., Stemonitaceae, Stemonitales. Mushroom: 0.7-1.4mm wide, 10-20mm high, cylindrical, densely clustered, reddish-brown, chocolate-brown (published that white mass was before). Stalk: 2-3mm long, black. Habitat: rather rare kind, small or big swarms at the old partially rotten deciduous stumps or trunks (mainly rotten oak wood) in mixed well-shadowed forest mainly deciduous. Edibility: no data. Season: May-September.
