Lepiota erminea (Fr.:Fr.) Kumm., Agaricaceae, Agaricales. (ÐепиоÑа гоÑноÑÑаеваÑ). Whitish fragile mushroom with free gills, a cottony stalk and a silky cap. Cap: 35-75 mm, white, smooth and silky, cone or bell-shaped when young, then convex, broadly convex with indistinct wide yellowish knob; small remnants of veil along margin. Flesh is white and fragile. Gills: close, free, moderately broad minor narrow, white up to yellowish-white or dull cream when died. Stalk: 7-16cm long, 8-18mm thick, silky and irregular cottony (except 15-25 mm of upper part), hollow, sometimes with indistinct ring or it's fragment; white up to yellowish or brownish near base when old. Habitat: small groups scattered on a ground with grass and pine needles in open sites of pine-tree forest with some elm (Ulmus densa) and maple (Acer negúndo). Edibility: no data. June â" August (?).
