Growing in dense clusters at the base of a Tilia tree in black mulch near the edge of a path. Taxus bushes further away. Odor radish-like but not very strong. Taste mealy. Caps convex. Caps dark brown in the center and white at the margin. Young caps with a patchwork pattern of lighter-colored spots. Caps not hygrophanous and without universal veil remnants. Cap margins inrolled. Lamellae adnate with white fimbriate edges and without tears. Lamellae about 0.3 cm deep. Base of stem tapered or around the same width as the rest of the stem. Stem pruinose at the apex. Context white with opaque areas. Stem not discoloring or rooting and without mycelial cords. Cortina present.
