Growing on a grassy lawn near red oak, white pine and norway spruce. Cap 9.2 cm wide, glabrous and faintly zonate. Stem smooth, dry and not scrobiculate. Combined height of cap and stem was 3.4 cm. Latex white and unchanging. Did not notice a staining reaction on the gills but there were already some light brown spots. Flesh acrid tasting. Gills forking near the base and some actually forming pores where they met the stem. This may have been a deformity. Odor earthy, somewhat like what Simocybe species smell like to me.
