Cap is 50mm across, stem is 70mm long to the bottom of the bulb, 115mm total to the end of the "root". Growing on ground among mixed hardwoods. I'm just guessing it's an Amanita, but I've never seen one with such a long root, distant gills and cone-shaped warts. Couldn't get a good spore print (too old), but found a few spores - they were subglobose 5-7 µm. Anybody know what this is?
