A NJMA foray collection. A single fruiting body growing in oak-dominated mixed deciduous woods. Odor of raw potatoes. Brunnescens is a possibility, as both brown-capped and albino-capped entities were found in the same woods by me and other foray participants, but the pallid-capped fbs had some red stains on the pileipellis when brought to the ID table. This one, however, didn't stain red on the cap.
