Growing in damp soil beneath oak, scattered. Cap dry, slightly damp/not viscid. Concave, becoming slightly upturned/convex in age. Grey, slight hues of lilac, yellow/olivaceous around disc. Cap cracking on surface into smaller, irregular grayish patches towards margin. Gills annexed to slightly sinuate, whiteish at first, becoming cream/pale yellow in age. Some forking present near margin. Stipe chalk white and smooth, becoming crumbly in age. Base of stipe tapered and becoming yellowish in age. Odor mild. Spore deposit white/cream.
