Habitat:
In old growth Tsuga heterophylla, associated with Polystichum munitrum, Oxalis sp, Saxafrage, Rhytidiadelphus.
Notes:
In Loamy humus beneath mossy layer. Pilei 16-22 millimeters, campanulate, Clay Color to tawny, lubricous; Lamellae Pinkish Buff; Stipe overall 124 millimeters, including pseudorhiza; 50 millimeters to soil line; 4 millimeters wide at apex, smooth, lubricous, 3 distinct color zones when young; Pinkish Cinnamon Apex seperated separated from Liver Brown remaineder [remainder] by Mikado Brown band; entire stipe eventually becoming entirely Liver Brown; Ridgway Plates XXIX. [October 23-31]. Spore print obtained. Substrate: terricolous.
