7 specimens, gregariousto caespitose, originating from very dry and reddish ochre colored granular layer under a misture of soil and wood humus in Old Growth Abies sp.,Pseudotsuga menziesii, Tsuga heterophylla, Thuja plicata with Gaultheria Shallon.
General Impression: Large brown broadly campanulate glutinous caps with dull ochre pale to brownish pallid gills on ochre buff stipes; Ridgway Plates XXI, XLVI. Spore, print obtained. Additional notes present. Substrate: terricolous.
