General Impression: dull brown heavily glutinous convex umbonate caps with very pale buff colored gills and fairly massive pinkish brown dry to moist stipes with apical flecks from stipe surface breaking upl faint striations visible on pileus edge; Ridgeway Paltes SLVI.; STIPE XIV; GILLS XL, XXIX.
