Scattered along stream. Spore point=white. Pileus convex with broad or slight central depression, colored maron (?), claret brown and bay, 2.1-4.1 cm broad. Lamellae light ochraceous salmon to, salmon buff, adnote. Stipe apex + - concolorous with cap on lighter, near mahogany red, bad salmon buff to lighter than apex, not white, 15-22 mm x 5-8 mm, latex white (skim milk-like), taste mild, to very faintly acrid after 1 minute (numbing of tongue).
