Fe SO4 Pink, taste milde. Cap yellow-green center with red margin. Some are all yellow or all red. viscid: if wet. Flesh pink under cuticle. Cuticle peels half way. Gills pale yellow. Gills stain black, edges black in age. Stipe white s tains dark gray. Flesh turns gray on exposure, most spores are: 10-13.5 x 8-10 micrometers. Spores have spines 1.5 micrometers.
