pileus pleurotoid, lateral or central, to 4 cm across, surface smooth, white, margin slightly downturned becoming upturned. context thin, white, odor and taste mildly fragrant, pleasant. lamellae very close, short decurrent, white, even. stipe short, firm, to 1 cm long x 3-6 mm, surface white, strigose or hispid.
