Eocronartium muscicola (Pers.) Fitzp.
Platygloeaceae
Burnham, Stewart H.
89
s.d.
[no locality data present]
Cannot be georeferenced: unclear where this specimen was collected
Taken on moss, wood margin (the moss Thuidium delicatulum).
Plants white; taste none.
This seems to be different than my #62 taken on mossy rocks which I have called Typhula muscicola (Pers.) Fr. (?). My #62 is not uncommon here but always on some moss that closely clings to rocks and stones (a moss that is difficult to remove from its habitat). This #89 I do not remember of ever having found before.
