Asimina angustifolia
(Inonatus amplectans Murr.) This remarkable species evidently belongs to the genus Cryptoporus. C. volvatus, the only other species, is associated with insects (beetle) and we find that this plant is associated with insects. Both have volvas and hyaline spores. The development of this plant and its relationship with the insects woudl make a beautiful study. W.C. C. [William Chambers Coker]
