Spore print under no. 1939 in herbarium. Cap not striate. Stipe at times lighter colored, almost white, hollow and white inside. Gills white on their sides, yellow (Lemon Yellow) on their edges; the latter is especially true of young plants. They are slightly attached to the stipe at first, but soon become loose, and then appear quite remote, though, on close examination, the place of rupture can be seen. - L. C. C. Krieger
