Growing scattered on woodchips at the side of a building.
Mature cap 2 cm broad, convex with a slight depression (or plane) in the center. Light orangish brown when young, becoming somewhat darker in age with some gray tones. Center of cap smooth and darker brownish-orange. Cap deeply striate and grooved from the margin to about 3/5ths of the way to the center. Cap covered with fine reddish-orange hairs up to 3mm. Gills close, brown when younger but blackening in age, adnexed to almost free. Stipe 7 cm long, thin, fragile, hollow, smooth, slightly glabrous. More or less equal with a slightly swollen base, light brown to creamy white. Swollen base is white, with mycelial fuzz that can be seen adhering to the substrate.
These specimens dried out in-situ and did not deliquesce.
