Found along a trail in mixed deciduous/Pinus forest on leaf of Quercus stellata.ᅠOther associate species include: Pinus echinata, P. taeda, Quercus alba, Q. hemisphaerica, Q. nigra, Smilax pumila, S. smallii, Castanea pumila, Magnolia grandiflora, Fagus grandifolia, Vaccinium arboreum. Fungus growing out of Noctuid (?) moth.ᅠ
