cap central park darkish fulvous, outer part lighter, azonate, slightly, viscid, funnel-shaped, wrinkled,not umbonate, glabrous, 1.9-3.6cm. gills concolor to concolor-pallid, usually straight or slightly sinulate at the stem, tilted downward, forking occasional, more or less veined, medium-breadth or moderately narrow. stem concolor covered in pieces by a thin white felty coating, smooth to moderately longitudinally-wrinkled, usually either equal or else enlarging downward with the base tapered, 1.5-4cm x 5-9mm, becoming stuffed or hollow. mycelium scant, fine, pallid. flesh int he cap and stem concolor-pallid. latex watery-white in the gills, white in the stem, moderately scant. odor acidic, taste mild; KOH not staining the cap, cap flesh or gills. nh4dh not staining the cap. sulfovanilin not staining the stem, spores amyloid-ornamented, ellipitical, 6.6-8.3 x 5.6-6.9 um, L/W 1.19, reticulum poorly to moderately developed, reticulum sometimes broadly meshed, ornamentation medium-height. cap cuticle a tangled trichodermium, branching frequent, of narrow filamentous hyphae, appearing moderately gelatinous, without cystidia, not strongly encrusted. cap trama heteromerous; thirteen mature to old mushrooms, single, on dirt, with mixed manzanita and coast live oak
