Initially was RMF 1210. Letter from RMF 10 July 2000: Collections of RMF 1210 - there were several - proved to be R. chlorinosma Burl. ( = Russula maculosa Murr. as per Singer, spores and pileus cuticle are equivalent.) Burlingham described a collection received from a Dr. Burke who stressed a strong, persistent chlorine odor.
