Pholiota aurivella, walked on the s. ridge trail from water tower at Bastyr, near water tower parking lot. Were growing from a log. Immature, on hardwood. Yellowbrown buttons, and umbonated caps, cream stems, scaley/warty caps, yellow ocher in color, as matured lightened to yellow, darkened stems, flattened caps, eventually appearing large plate of 4-5in in diameter by 10/26 with 7-8in + stems. Got more slimey as matured, more fiberous stems, solid flesh, adnated gills, found on class walk.
