Description: Original observation #425955 (iNaturalist)
Occurrence Remarks: Known by the common names of Strawberries and Cream, and Bleeding Hydnellum, this mushroom appeared to be oozing red blood at first sight. The red dried to a black eventually. It has an incredibley floral odor when first found, and a very acrid taste. It was growing under pine trees and huckleberry plants, and nearby there was rattlesnake plaintain.
