Though this specimen as observed did not have the creamy white underside I believe it was a rather well spent specimen. The ground was totally covered with the rust colored spore much the same color as the top. jblinde may have better photos and description of the underside.

A very rusty brown color growing on a decaying log. I believe this specimen was very well spent as the ground underneath it was dusted heavily with the same reddish color spore. No gills. Was porous underneath. A very strong earthy smell when disturbed.
