Occurrence Remarks:

Found in a dry river bed in Jalisco, Mexico. 1300 to 1900 meters elevation.

The habitat for these mushrooms is very interesting – They like to grow from buried organic material and fruit directly out of the sand in the middle of the dry river bed.
