Occurrence Remarks:

Growing by itself. The largest Psilocybe we found that day.

Specimen deposited in the herbarium at the Institute of Ecology in Xalapa.

Altitude: 2600 meters.

Pseudorhiza absent. Stipe base with a bulb.

Pleurocystidia abundant, sometimes forked or capitate. 20 – 30 × 5 – 7.

Cheilocystidia sometimes long and stick-like, 20 – 30 × 5 – 7. Sometimes irregularly forked, most approximately 20 × 3.
