This collection was under mixed hardwoods, and had a pileus much lighter than usual.
The micrograph shows type B cheilocystidia, which is much larger and more cylindrical than type A cheilocystidia.
All fruit bodies were confirmed to be P. neoxalapensis by microscopy.
