Scleroderma bovista Fr.
Sclerodermataceae
Jerry Cooper (2017-02-27T21:12:12Z)
A sequence confirms this is S. bovista, and so it also occurs with conifers in addition to broadleaved trees in NZ. I will need to edit the key. https://inaturalist.nz/journal/cooperj/7327-scleroderma-in-nz There is still a bright yellow Scleroderma with pines that needs pinning down.
