Numerous small coral mushrooms were found growing in the duff beneath Common Douglas-fir, Tanoak, and California Bay Laurel. They were identified by their slightly rubbery-leather feel, rounded branch tips, 'U'-shaped forks, and slightly flattened structure with a slender, rooting stipe.
