Flavoparmelia caperata (Common Greenshield Lichen), on tree trunk. Trees in park-like area between Avenue U and path to Salt Marsh Nature Center between Avenue 38 and Avenue 33, Marine Park area, Brooklyn, NY. Trees unfortunately not known but should be identifiable once leaves develop in a month or two.
