Parasite on wounded hardwoods, found high off ground growing in large clusters in shelf like pattern.
In between teo living hardwoods
Entire cluster approx.1.5 ft across and 2 ft long resembling a diamond shape. Entire cluster shares white flat base attached to hardwood instead of stem. Each shelf, approx. 4-6 cm long and length across varied. Top flesh velvety, white, soft, slight moisture. Underside teeth length 1.5 cm - 2.5 cm. Teeth are very tightly packed, flexible, white. When sliced, no color change from white. When dry, yellow in color. No distinct odor. Taste N/A. Microscopic? Spores?
