Locality: USA, California, El Dorado, Eldorado National Forest, southeast of junction of Mosquito Road and Sand Mountian Road.
Habitat: Mature forest with Douglas-fir and Tanoak, with Ponderosa Pine, Canyon Live Oak in area.
Substrate: Soil.
Description: Clubs 51-76 mm high, 10-25 mm across, cylindrical to clavate, tips rounded. KOH grayish green, to forest green (30 secs) to orange-yellow after ~2 mins. Flesh white, taste slightly bitter.
Occurrence Remarks: Scattered, or in pairs in mixed Tanoak-Douglas-fir forest.
