Habit: Gregarious. PILEUS: Shape - Conic with umbo. Breadth 13 – 15 mm. Color - Dark Brown disc, strong Brown margin. Changes None. Surface - Glabrous, striate for ca. 1/2 pileus radius. Flesh: Consistency - Firm. Thickness 0.5 mm. Color - Dark Brown. Odor None. Changes None. Taste Not tested. HYMENOPHORE: Attachment - Adnexed. Length 2.5 mm. Color - Brownish Orange. Changes None. Edges (Color & Shape) Concolorous, even. Spacing & pattern - Crowded, separate. Lamellulae - Present; 2 sets; inner ends truncate. STIPE: Shape - Equal (base missing). Size Length greater than 57 – 70 x 1.5 - 2 mm. Surface - Striate with scattered Brown fibrils. Color - Alternating light Brown to medium Brown to very pale and whitish. Changes None. Flesh color - Strong Brown. Flesh color changes None. VEIL: Annulus - None. SPORE DEPOSIT COLOR: (On slide; small print) Brownish Orange. N.B. Colors from K.L. Kelly and D.B.
