Growing in a mowed lawn under planted Picea abies and Betula nigra. This was near the edge of the forest, so it?s possible that there were other potential mycorrhizal associates nearby but I was in a rush.
Pores white and staining brown. Context white and not staining. Larger specimen with reticulation at the apex of the stem. Taste of flesh mild.
