Pleurotoid fruit bodies with a soft fibrous upper surface that is cream-tan in colour and cream gills. The fruit bodies have a short stipe which is quite fuzzy about 5 mm in height and 7-8 mm in diameter. There is also fuzzy growth on the top of the fruitbody near the base (seen in lower fruit bodies). The largest of these young fruit bodies was only 7.2 cm in diameter and 6.3 cm in height but would typically be larger. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.
